Alison is a partner within the private client department of  TC Young , she is head of the Adult Incapacity Team and helps clients dealing with the challenges of capacity issues, including those with dementia and learning disablities.  She is a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Mental Health and Disability sub committee and also a member of STEP Scotland.

Adults with Incapacity: Back to Basics & Current Practice Issues

This session will provide a refresher on Adults with Incapacity law, including Powers of Attorney and guardianship orders. Current practice issues will also be covered, including when Powers of Attorney go wrong; case law overview; guardianship delays and other issues for practitioners now.
