The Glasgow Bar Association run Professional Competence Courses which are accredited by the Law Society of Scotland.

Our course covers all the core subjects as laid down by the Law Society and two electives, namely Family Law and Litigation (Civil & Criminal) which taken together add up to the 18 hours of electives required by the Law Society. The course lasts 9 days (no courses at the weekend) and is based mainly within Caledonian University, Glasgow.
