The Topic
This seminar will examine what information you require from your client in order to prepare a claim or submit a response to an Employment Tribunal.  It will cover the most common types of claims submitted to Employment Tribunals such as unfair dismissal and discrimination as well as looking at the more unusual claims and the common pitfalls from both the Claimant and the Respondent’s perspective. It will also look at jurisdiction, time limits and identification of the correct Respondent.

The Speakers
Tony McGrade is a director and the founder of McGrade & Co Employer Lawyers, a niche practice advising exclusively on employment law issues. He is a Law Society accredited specialist in employment law. He acts on behalf of individuals and small and medium sized businesses on a full range of employment issues. He has served as the Scottish representative on the Employment Law Association, a UK wide organisation of employment lawyers. He is also a member of the Employment Law Committee of the Law Society of Scotland. He is the co-ordinating tutor on the Employment Law Elective offered by Strathclyde University.  He regularly provides training to solicitors, advisers and employers on a wide range of employment issues. He has a particular interest in discrimination law.
